P.C. BHATT DUMB & DEAF -SCHOOL

Our institution is providing free education and free hostel facility; we are also providing free dining facilities to our students. We have appointed well trained teachers and as a result we are able to give quality education to our students. Many Village members, Donors from outside and number of N.R.I.s noticed the activities of our institution and contributed their part for our institution; all of them did not concentrate on their names but their deeds.

We also did not take the cash from the donors, we managed to ask for the things we felt required for the students or the institution. All these donors saw their readiness for any kind of contribution to our students or our institution; and we heartly thank all of them for their contribution and really appreciate their concern for future help. Our institution is having class 1 to 8 at present. We began our journey with 10 students in our institution and today the number of students reached around 55. Our main goal is to give them quality education with the training which can be useful in their future life.

We are helping our students to become independent in their life. Most of our students come from the middle-lower class families, we are providing them quality education, hostel facility, food facility etc without charging them. We also give school uniforms and notebooks to all our students without any cost. We give our attention on the computer education to all our students as it is very essential part of 21st century. So students are getting totally free education and training at our institution.

We have well trained faculty in our institution who teach through finger-spelling alphabets and with the help of Group hearing aids in very friendly and easy manner to our students. We provide the vocational training to all our students; we are teaching them chalk-making, candle-making, tailoring, toy-making etc and as a result of our efforts these students are getting jobs or work after completion of their studies and supporting their families economically. We feel so satisfied and happy by looking at our ex-students now as they have became independent now and support their families. In our hostel, we give all the facilities including food to our students for no cost.

We have got solar system as well for the hot water facilities to our students. We do so many camps every now and then. We do regular health care check up of our students by the recognized doctors. Our students also take part in the cultural activities and also have won prizes in the district level competitions. Our students do rallies for the public awareness and celebrate all the festivals whole heartedly. We have created a platform of learning, sharing and empowerment for each student. We have transformed life of many deaf and dumb students by facilitating to acquire employment, counsel for lucrative career & vocational training.
